Half of every fee sweep buys $BOTTLE and puts it on the pile; the pile goes through the chain's burn venue and the tokens end at 0xdEaD. Forty per cent of a sweep pays finders, ten per cent is dev.
How it works
- Throw. Buy at least 0.01 ETH of $BOTTLE through this page and write up to 140 bytes. The note is sealed on chain in a bottle. One bottle per transaction, whatever the buy is worth. Buying anywhere else throws nothing.
- Drift. The bottle is at sea for one to seven days. The exact day comes from a block hash and nobody can choose it.
- Raise a flag. Any wallet holding 100 000 $BOTTLE can raise a flag, which costs only gas. A flag is what makes a wallet reachable.
- Wash ashore. When the time is up, anyone can land the bottle. It picks a flagged wallet by block hash, never the thrower, and skips any wallet that has fallen under 100 000. The finder is paid 0.001 ETH from the fund. If the fund is dry the note still lands.
- Reply. The finder can answer. A reply burns 10 000 $BOTTLE and throws a new bottle that drifts by the same rule. Keeping a note pins it to the beach; unkept notes leave this page after thirty days and stay on the chain forever.
The money
$BOTTLE trades pay a 5% creator tax. Every sweep splits it: 50% buys $BOTTLE and burns it, 40% goes to the finder's fund, 10% is dev. No mint, no sale. The contract holds the fund and there is no owner path to it — the owner can move the dev slice and nothing else.
Two things worth knowing
Notes are public and permanent. This page hides a note it does not want to print and says so, with a link to the transaction. The chain keeps every one of them.
Farming the finder's fee does not pay. Each wallet needs 100 000 $BOTTLE held to keep a flag, and the fee is 0.001 ETH per landing. Ten wallets cost a million $BOTTLE and earn 0.001 ETH each time a bottle happens to pick one of them.
